What is the liquidación?
The liquidación is the payment you are entitled to when you are dismissed without just cause. It includes the finiquito plus the indemnity set by the Federal Labor Law.
What does it include?
- Finiquito: unpaid salary, proportional aguinaldo and vacation, vacation premium.
- Constitutional indemnity: 3 months (90 days) of integrated salary.
- 20 days per year of service.
- Seniority premium: 12 days per year, capped at two times the daily minimum wage.
Integrated salary
The indemnity uses the integrated daily salary (SDI), which adds the proportional share of aguinaldo and vacation premium to your daily salary. This calculator estimates it automatically. If your employer pays other regular benefits (vouchers, fixed bonuses), your real SDI may be higher.

With a salary of MXN 15,000 per month, hired on March 15, 2023 and dismissed on November 4, 2026, the approximate severance would be:
